The Perfect Juggler

The Perfect Juggler blog is written by Katie, a honest, open, slightly sarcastic single mum to an overly dramatic 8 year old daughter. She lives in Warwickshire and is trying to juggle all the balls of her life: Family, friends, dates with the boyfriend, starting a new business, and all the other things that could come crashing down at any moment.

I'm officially, a crazy plant lady. Have been feel I'm officially, a crazy plant lady. Have been feeling a bit meh this week so after some dancing exercise this morning to boost the endorphins I decided to spend some time with my green friends. My orchid had grown a baby at the end of one of its off shoots so I gave her a new little home next to her mummy and keeping my fingers crossed she'll bed in so I can cut the apron strings. Also spotted a new baby succulent pushing up from a leaf that dropped off one of my other plants that I planted a month or so ago. And finally got round to rehoming another baby aloe that had sprung up in another pot and some other leaves that I'd propogated 🤞🏻🤞🏻 Feeling very wholesome and happy now and normality can resume. Decided to start running again today and this was Decided to start running again today and this was the thanks I got! 😍 After 2 weeks of procrastination I got up, left the 9 year old to get her own breakfast and the bf to supervise, put on my @couch_to_5k_laura app, turned on @rosemarinoramsey and @iamchrisramsey Out Of Office Reply on #ShaggedMarriedAnnoyed and went for a run/walk. Wow the sun feels good! The clan and I actually u Wow the sun feels good! The clan and I actually used our daily exercise today and walked up into Warwick to get our fruit and veg from the market. Was lovely to spot @tropiclovelyness behind the @vegoutandgetfruity stall and picked up some beer from Fosse Way Brewery for the one not doing @dryjanuary. Then stopped into @dough_brew for their delicious chocolate milkshakes and a coffee for me! Then on the way home we even caught a race @warwickraces, didn't pick the right horse to bet on but was fun to watch either way! First day of homeschooling done. This time round i First day of homeschooling done. This time round is completely different as our teachers are actually teaching the class remotely. It still doesn't seem to mean I can entirely focus on any of my work as there has to be an issue or crisis of confidence at least once every half hour but...i can see it getting better. After an early start because of a crappy nightmare, juggling a planning workshop and homeschooling a brisk, very cold walk helped us all. I've really struggled with my reading for the past I've really struggled with my reading for the past few months and although I was so looking forward to reading The Eve Illusion by @mrsgifletcher and @tomfletcher I struggled to get past the first couple of chapters. A client mentioned that she was struggling as well and it turned out we were both trying to read dystopian thrillers, and we decided maybe it was all a bit to close to home at the moment so I've abandoned that book until the new year and picked up this Christmas novel and I'm going to stay in bed for as long as possible reading whilst the other two play on the PlayStation downstairs.
