The Perfect Juggler blog is written by Katie, a honest, open, slightly sarcastic single mum to an overly dramatic 8 year old daughter. Today I want to give a big shout out to the father

Today I want to give a big shout out to the father type figures in our children's lives. Luckily I have a few from my brother to friends dad's but this guy has massively stepped up to the plate this year. He's dealt with all manner of shit from a strong willed 8 year old who doesn't like change and although he questions how he's doing regularly, he's bloody amazing. He has shown me that some blokes do have their head screwed on right and understand what priorities are when it comes to being a family. He was also raised by an amazing strong single mum so big hugs to her for raising a proper gentleman.

Today we went out...like life is a little bit norm

Today we went out...like life is a little bit normal. Granted we went out after we'd done homeschooling and because Dale is having a horrible time at work and needed to get his head down whilst wfh but WE WENT OUT! We went to Stratford which was lovely and so quiet for a warm June day. Charlotte had an ice cream and even better no gluten cross contamination as they were just serving it in tubs! Yay! I also popped into a couple of shops which was so nice to do. Tried not to buy up the whole shop even though all the sales were so tempting!

Miss this bed hogger so much. Picked up her ashes yesterday so we can scatter them somewhere she loved. Is it silly to what a bit of a memorial for her? She really was the best dog. Much love goes to @avonvalevets who also gave us some ink prints of her paw that we can keep. After getting on the scales at the start of the we

After getting on the scales at the start of the week I decided I needed to get a little handle on the huge consumption of alcohol, chocolate, biscuits and other crap before my body had a strop.

But interspersed between the more exercise and more veg I'm allowing myself to still enjoy the finer things in life periodically so this week's treat was lunch from @dough_brew

The club sandwich will probably feed me for the next couple of days and it was well worth the calories!
